Who we are

A UAE onshore investment manager, licensed by the Capital Market Authority, connecting Professional Investors with liquid and illiquid opportunities across the GCC and beyond.

Who we are

Licensed onshore. Built for cross-border.

Arakar Investment Management LLC is licensed and regulated by the UAE Capital Market Authority (CMA) under Category 2 and Category 5 and operates onshore across the GCC. As part of CFA Group, a regulated financial group, we align governance, incentives and execution within a single risk framework. We manage funds and discretionary portfolios, structure cross-border vehicles (funds, feeder/master and SPVs), provide fund administration and introduce Professional Investors to carefully selected third-party funds, all under harmonised KYC/AML.

Introduction

At Arakar, we turn governance and execution into seamless cross-border operations.

We are an onshore UAE investment manager, licensed by the Capital Market Authority (Categories 2 and 5), operating across the GCC and connecting markets through enforceable structures, measurable metrics and risk-driven discipline. We innovate where it matters: in the process, not in the storytelling.

Our Mission

Preserve and grow professional investors’ capital through a unified risk framework, onshore licensing and institutional structures (funds, feeder/master, SPVs) that transform sophisticated opportunities into transparent, investable ones with full regulatory alignment, and give them access to carefully selected third-party strategies.

How we deliver:

  • Risk first, then return: consistent, sustainable risk-adjusted returns by applying scenario analysis and downside protection - all within defined position limits, concentration guardrails, and liquidity terms aligned with each asset’s profile
  • Real alignment: co-investment and GP capital at risk, paired with a transparent fee structure - management fees and performance fees - subject to hurdles and high watermarks, and clawback mechanisms where applicable
  • Measurable execution: milestones, operating KPIs, and institutional reporting
  • Seamless cross-border compliance: harmonized KYC/AML and consistent structures across GCC and other markets
  • Open architecture: our own strategies alongside third-party funds selected through documented due diligence, with any remuneration we receive disclosed.

Our Vision

To be the trusted GCC partner, setting the standard for capital mobility across jurisdictions through exemplary governance, disciplined execution, and innovative underwriting and decision-making

What we aim to build:

  • A unified governance framework for private equity, private credit, and liquid strategies - designed to be portable across markets
  • Fund architecture and strategic alliances that expand access without sacrificing control
  • Technology and transparency: data, analytics, and automation for underwriting and reporting - audit-ready valuation policies and timely, decision-focused reporting for transparency
  • A culture of accountability: traceable decisions, managed conflicts of interest, and professional ethics as a competitive edge
Leadership

Leadership built on accountability

Our board and management team combine investment, finance, risk and compliance experience across the GCC and Europe, and are directly accountable for how we invest, report and protect our clients' capital.

Our Values

What we stand for

Four principles guide every mandate we accept and every decision we take.

Risk first

Returns are the outcome of disciplined risk, not the premise of the strategy.

Alignment

We co-invest where we can, and our fees are transparent, with hurdles, high-water marks and clawbacks where applicable.

Verifiable transparency

We publish only what can be independently verified and report in institutional formats.

Accountability

Traceable decisions, managed conflicts of interest and professional ethics.
